Day before wedding - locked my keys in the car!

Day before wedding - locked my keys in the car!

So I'm running around this morning and I have to get a few things done before I go to work - I have to teach the day before the wedding - oh well.

I pull up to the drug store - am on the cell phone, am trying to look over my lesson plan for the day, am getting coins out of my wallet for the meter - lock the car door - slam the door shut -

AND I'VE LEFT THE KEYS IN THE CAR.

Call FH, who is willing to come out with the spare set (oh yeah, he's at the apartment in Long Island City - I'm in Floral Park by my parents) but thankfully a police office and an ESU truck were able to help me out - not before I saw a few people from town who had gathered to watch the silly girl who locked her keys in the car.

So thank you SO MUCH to the Police and Emergency Services Unit - who somehow opened my car door with a blood pressure pump!

I guess I have BRIDE BRAIN

Thankfully they came and helped out...
Ugh...Ok...take a deep breath...it'll be a good laugh on Sunday!

thanks - i'll be sure to post a review and pics of WM - i went by there on monday - the holiday decorations look great!
