8 New PICS ADDED * - * - * Hello From PARIS !!! * - * - *
Hey everyone, my darling Jeff and dog Snowy and I have been in Paris for almost a week now and I've missed you all! I am typing from the hotel room on wireless internet. I can't wait to share more about our incredible trip to the City of Light.
For now though, I wanted to suggest that anyone who is looking for pashmina silk and cashmere shawls (to wear over their wedding gowns) should look in Paris. I got a wonderful red print one for other occasions for only $5 euros which is crazily LESS than a silly bottle of cola here! FM me if ya want info and I'll answer by next week.
I'll be back soon with many pictures but I have to run now - 2 seconds away from my romantic future hubby is too much in this amazing city. Here's a pic of us at you know where plus a closeup of my ring that I took at the Louvre museum.
Edited for spelling, hey - it's 4:58 am here lol.

Re: BUMP * - * - * Hello From PARIS !!! * - * - * (I'm back with PICS!)
Last one for now, I have to go unpack and make phone calls hehe. This was taken outside of our hotel in the Marais. The weather was so variable! It was snowing when we arrived and then on the days we took pics outside, it "magically" became sunny until we were done. That just added to the romance hehe. If anyone wants tips about Paris, let me know. I'll write more later, thanks for looking!

hey - I have a question about traveling with your dog...where did you put him on the plane, how much $$$ did it cost to travel with him? I am interested in bringing our yorkie with us on some travels, but I don't know the first thing about it. TIA!

Looks beautiful!! I have a question, why would you bring your dog on vacation with you. Isn't is a hassle when you want to go out during the day and night. I would always be worried that the dog was okay. I am not being mean, I was just wondering what you do with him.

Re: BUMP * - * - * Hello From PARIS !!! * - * - * (I'm back with PICS!)
It takes a lot of prep but it is so worth it to take your dog on vacation. My dog Snowy has done training seminars in over 24 states & Canada and knows over 40 dog tricks I taught her including the hokey pokey. She is my soul malt doggie and not bringing her would be like leaving my future hubby behind - I'd cry myself to sleep every night without them! It was no hassle at all and she came with us to almost all of the sites. The hotel even changed their housekeeping schedule for us so we could have an easy time. There is security in many of the museums but we were able to plan appropriately and had no problems at all.
About flying - she comes with us in the cabin and weighs less than 6 pounds. She's trained to not bark for any reason and will go potty on command when she has to go. FM me for flight costs and details but it's less than boarding them. In fact the people sitting all around us had no idea she was on board, and asked if their 3 year old child could ever be that quiet or clean haha.
Paris was magical and my darling Jeff and I couldn't possibly have had a more romantic time but it was SO special to have our dog there too. It's DEFINITELY worth it, as you see in my pic of Snowy and I at the Eiffel Tower!!!

Re: BUMP * - * - * Hello From PARIS !!! * - * - * (I'm back with EVEN MORE PICS!)
Hehe, that's why I'm a photographer (amateur, but I have already had 2 photos published!!!) If you fm me I'll send you more pics because even though it seemed so magical that it was unreal, I assure you that standing in the freezing cold to get those pics was SO worth it. I'll post more once I get them edited -RomeBride
ETA: These pics weren't even taken with the professional camera that I've been saving up to buy (A Nikon D2x)... they were with a D70s which is so "amateur" comparatively hehe. I guess I'm just good lol

Haha we bought the Feerie soundtrack CD too lol (their current show).... it was so incredibly creative. I spoke with women from Canada and South Africa who went to The Lido, Crazy Horse, AND Moulin Rouge but thought that the Moulin Rouge was the best. We actually liked the dinner too and the service was excellent. Isn't it odd that I haven't even seen the movie yet?

*** My Paris Review 1 ***
OK here's a review for all those of you who have sent me forum messages asking for it.
***It's a REALLY good thing that there is a 40 day!!! residency requirement in France before you're allowed to get married there... because otherwise Jeff and I would have for sure, like we talked about since it's so easy to get lost in the romance there. I guess we'll have to wait for Italy, sigh hehe.
About Paris, it's so incredible! First of all, we stayed in the Marais district which is in the 4th neighborhood... very close to the Louvre (only 2 stops away.) If you're into museums you have to do the Orsay and the Louvre (we went there on 2 days and still didn't see even 1/5 of the 300,000 exhibits!!!) We saw the Mona Lisa at the Louvre and the guards were so intimidating. The Orsay was on strike though hahaha for only a DAY so we missed that (where Van Gogh and Monet ones are.)
You HAVE to see a Moulin Rouge show because it's a once in a lifetime experience and the dinner was great, but very expensive (about $180 a person including the show!!!!) It was scary though when the dancer went into an underwater pit with massive snakes! Continued in next message...

** My Paris Review 2 ***
Of course the Eiffel Tower even better at night than daytime in my opinion but the metro is so far away. The only thing is that you MUST get something called Paris Visite because it allows you UNLMITED travel on the metro and RER train in a certain # of zones for 1, 3, or 5 days and offers massive savings. FM me for info.
There is also a museum pass to over 70 sites that allows UNLIMITED access to the normal admission (not temporary exhibits.) for 1, 3, or 5 days. It's not worth it though if you don't spend a lot of time in the museums.
You can't forget the typical sites of the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the Opera Garnier, Versailles, etc. Some of the more "unique things" we did included the Catacombs (bones of over 5 million people, so sad) and Pierre Lachaise Cemetery (we spent 4 hours there and saw Chopin's grave and even Jim Morrison!) I also got exclusive perfume from Frederic Malle that is so dreamy which Jeff helped me pick out. Now my sweet future hubby is always so romantic in everyday life but it was so amazing in Paris like magic, and we were finding ourselves running away to hide and steal kisses from each other... it was great! Hmm, maybe we should've missed the plane back. Continued in next message...
