Hey ladies... (LOOOOONG)

I just wanted to post a little about whats going on in my life:

#1 Pre-marital is (IMO) so stupid. I swear we sit there and she'll ask a question like "Define 3 points of weakness in your relationship." He goes first, then when she comes to me I'm stummped. I mean it's so on the spot, and he already took mine. Then I sit there like an idiot, until I find one. To witch she nods yes and uh huhs a bunch of times. Then she out right says "I believe ypur problem is communtication. I went to school for 11+ years to learn how to communicate, so I know how to do it. You don't." Uhm... okay.... I think the problem is, I'm not a big fan of hers, but whatever, thats the one the church mandates!!

#2 My FH have talked about how hurt I am over him not wanting the wedding, so he explained it, sorta like this "I love you, and thats why we are having the wedding. I don't want it, I feel like no matter what happens (w/ his family) I lose. I am nervouse about every aspect of the wedding (money, stutterng, people looking at him, certain people coming/not coming, dancing, the food, basically EVERYTHING). It's just very scary for me."

#3 My BM's are driving me NUTS!! Estelle's called and said the dresses were in and they had 14 days to get them out!! SOOOOOO I call all my BM's and tell them that I will pick up the drsses BUT they have to pay me ASAP or call up the store and pay by credit card, do they all respond right away? NO I have to harrass them!! I am still unsure what one of them is doing!! (now we only have 11 days to go)

#4 My brother will not be attending my wedding. He got the std and said to my mother "he can't afford to take the whole family (from VA) he can't afford the hotel, and his daughter has standerdised testing (she's 7)" when my mom asked if maybe just HE could come and stay at the house he said no. So whatever, F**K him!! I flew to CA for his wedding. he honestly is so poor that he can't afford to talke ONE freaking day off from work and drive down to see his little sister get married? If he sends a check, I guess I'll just send it back.

#5 I really want to get my bm's cookies that look like them for my bridal luncheon. Does anyone know where I could find these, not to expensive? Or even where I could get a cookie cutter so I could make my own?!!?

hey! wow, you seem to have a lot going on right now that is super stress-inducing! sorry to hear it! i guess the premarital counseling is a requirement for you? thats too bad its not going well. what kind of 11+ years of schooling does this person have exactly? don't take it too seriously, just do what you have to there and get it over with.
it seems that your fi is very anxious over the wedding and all the stress that comes with it. i can relate in that it is a huge overwhelming thing...the whole planning process and everything that comes along with the big day. but, it seems that he is overly anxious (regarding stuff like stuttering, people looking at him, etc). is he anxious about other areas of his life, or is the wedding the only stressor? its good that he communicated his feelings with you, at least you have a better understanding as to where he is coming from. maybe real counseling (outside the church) could help ease his anxieties.
the bm dress policy at estelles *****, huh. when my girls dresses came in they didnt have to pay a thing, just leave them there until they get altered. sorry you have to harrass them about it, 2 weeks is a short time. hopefully they will do the right hting and get back to you asap and pay off their dresses!
ugh, i can relate to your brother situation. i have 2 brothers that can't fly up fro FL bc its"too expensive, and they can't take the time off from work". i know its BS, but whatever. don't let your brother stress you out. if he doesn't come, then you'll have to accept it for what it is--a crappy decision on his part.
anyways, maybe check ebay for custom cookies, i hear a lot of brides are finding good cookie deals on there.

Hey! You do have a whole lots of stuff going on. Guys react differently to stressful situations so he may try to avoid thinking about to not freak while although all of us are stressed we can't stop talking/thinking about the wedding. Its awesome he is opening up, though! I hope your BMs come through, I am sure they will but with Xmas around the corner it may be tough for them. I can't believe that place is making you guys pick the dresses up so suddenly!! Stay calm everything is going to end up settling into place!
PS You will probably need to tell me the same thing once I have 6 months to go!

One of my brothers was having a rough patch in his marriage so they went to counseling. The counselor told his wife that she needed to be a better wife by having dinner ready for him when he came home. Rub his feet. Have the paper ready for him. She was living in the 1920's!!!!

SOOOOO.... my point was not everyone is qualified in their jobs.... sounds like you found someone else that fits that title.
