Question about placement of favor donation cookies...

We are doing donation favors and I am getting cookies decorated like apples to go with the charity we are donating to (NY Cares). The cookies will be wrapped individually and a tag will be attached that explains the charity.

Here is my question...where should I put the cookies on the table? I mean, would it make since to be sitting on the plate right when the guests walk into the reception?

My table will be white, white flowers, etc., so I thought the red cookies might bring some color to the table, and I kind of want them on the tables already when the guests first sit down. Where should I put them?

Edited to add that I will be doing menus with some red font and maybe a red border, so this will be tucked into the napkins on the plates. Do I put the cookies on top of the menu and napkin? Sorry...dumb question..I just don't know about thist stuff..

You can do it however you want, just leave directions with the hall. They would look nice directly on the plate, but if the napkin and menu will be on there that may be too much, in which case you could just put them directly above the plate or have them put the napkin and menu above the plate and cookie on the plate.

You could put them where ever you want. If it was me I would put them at the top of each place setting. Not on the plate but say next to the galsses. Everyone will look at it no matter where you put them. JMO
