Does anyone walk down with dad AND mom?

My stepsisters did this for their weddings - their dad and mom, but when I walk down, I want to just walk down with dad - she's my stepmom since I was 9, and it's not that we aren't close (my family is not so touchy feely) but I would just rather walk down with dad - thats pretty common, right???

of course, Its your wedding. I am walking down the aisle with just my dad so he doesn't B@#*h about having my mom walk down together. But remember, its yours and FH wedding not their's. I will deal with my dad when my wedding is coming up.

Jewish brides AND grooms walk down with BOTH parents. It is tradition.

I am going to walk down the aisle with both of my parents because they both had an equal part in raising me. I also suggested my FH walking down with both of his parents. (I know it's a Jewish tradition, but half of my family is Jewish and I really like that tradition). Anyway, I do not think there is anything wrong with wanting just your dad to walk you down the aisle, that is traditional too!

Most of the weddings I've been to have been in catholic churches and usually the father walks the bride down the aisle but I've been to a couple where both did. I think that either is fine and its up to you.

I am walking with both of my parents. They are divorced. I feel like my mother has done a lot for me and I can't just walk down with her. I think this will be fair to both of them.

I am having both my parents walk me down - My mom did the same thing .....My mom worked for a Jewish family and they told her thats how they did it and she thought it was a wonderful thing todo and i agree

My parents are divorced so I'm having the both of them walk with me. I'm not that close with my dad but I still want him to do it, and I'm really close with my mom so I want her to be there with me too.
