This will be the first year since we met that my FH and I will not be spending New Year's Eve together... he graduates the NYPD academy a few days before that, and they send everybody out on patrol on New Year's. I know I'll be so nervous all night that something will happen to him! I'm sure he'll be fine though. (I'm going to spend the rest of his career with that as my mantra...)

So, the plan now is that my two bestest friends are going to come down from Boston for some serious girly time, complete with sappy movies and gallons of junk food

Probably spend it alone with FH we have done that every year but one. Once we almost missed the ball drop because of, you know what!!! Now we wait until after the stroke of midnight. We even pop champagne for me to drink (FH doesn't like it).
