Bridesmaid Gifts

I've been in many weddings in the past where as a bridesmaid I knew I had the responsibility of paying for my dress, shoes, makeup and hair. All the brides said they wanted to pick a dress that we can wear again - some I can and some I just won't. Regardless, bridesmaid dresses are expensive especially to only wear once.

I was thinking of paying for the girls bridesmaid dresses as part of their bridesmaid gift. At the rehearsal dinner I will get a double frame and put a pic of us on one side and then a poem on the other side so I have something to present to them at the dinner.

I would have liked this as a gift in the weddings I was in, instead of other things I received.

What do you think of that?

I think that is a great idea! I would like that also and would do it if I could afford it. This way girls dont feel like they are wasting their money.

Similarly, I was in a wedding where the bride payed for our hair.. and I LOVED that... got to all go to the salon together, it was really nice, so I'm going to try to do this for my girls.
