My FH and I met in 7th grade on a desk!! He wrote, 'who sits here?' I wrote, 'Who are you?' (I'm too smart to write my name on a desk.

) Anyway, we passed in the doorway when I was leaving class and he came in. We said, 'hi.' And have been friends ever since!

Through my brother

My brother was home on leave from the army and a couple of his friends were going out I told him that I wanted to hang out with him as well and he said to come along so I did and met anthony we talked for a bit he liked me I liked him but I didn't think anything would come of it and look at how wrong I was three years later we are still together have a beautiful daughter together and are getting married in 9 monthss

We met online. He was pretty much the first guy I spoke with and knew after a very short time he was 'the one.' I was very reluctant about the online dating thing and only did it to shut my friends up...now I thank my lucky stars I did!

He is my best friend who I've known since middle school's older brother

I never thought of him 'that way' though until college - when we started dating. My best friend made us promise that if we dated we would get married (just cause it would be so stinky if we broke up!), and now we are!

my best friend met her current bf (of almost 3 years - and I am sure they will be engaged soon!) at the Boardy Barn too!

I was in 10th grade, he was a Freshman at Five Towns College. He was a bassist in a Band and I was a groupie.He was extremely shy, I wasn't. Eventually we started dating. Valentine's Day of '97 was our first date.

Playing pool. Captain of both my pool teams (same guy, and also the BM) and FH have been friends for @ 15 years. Captain talked FH into playing after I quit the 8-ball team, then talked me into coming back onto the team. I was still playing 9-ball during that time. Now FH has joined the 9-ball team as well.

We met at a mutual friends wedding. She is a great friend of mine from work and he is a good friend of her now husband. She thought we would hit if off so she put us at the same table. She believes it means very good luck that we are now getting married since we met at her wedding!!!

At a fraternity party in 1988 at SU. We hooked up drunk as skunks (NOT going all the way mind you) and I never spoke to him again until he came up as one of my matches on JDate.com (15 and a half years later) and then we only met to satisfy a curiosity. We have been together ever since!
