weird question but im wondering...

Is anyone watching the amount they drink on their wedding day...to avoid the hassle of having to pee?? hahaha

Strange thing....you never do.

I have the world's smallest bladder...(I know...TMI) and I didn't go once the ceremony started.

The bridal attendantent at the store I bought my dress from gave me very explicit instructions for my wedding day. First and foremost, pee before you put your dress on. (I forgot in all the excitement). I actually didn't go the entire day except before DH and I left for home that night and my MOH helped me. It was actually quite a funny moment!

I have thought about it since as soon as I drink something it goes right through me. LOL I'll probably limit my drinks through the day. All I can say is thank god the North Ritz has a big bathroom in their bridal suite!!!

I'm not too worried about it. If I have to I'll just take the dress off and go- then put it back on- luckily the bathroom is a good size! My MOH said she'd help. I want to eat drink and be merry! I usually can hold it a while normally tho...funny question tho!

When I bough my dress, the woman had a very interesting notion-
she said that when you sit to pee, face the wall (like, straddle the toilet). This seems easier than worrying about the back of your dress back there.

That's too funny...I think I only thought about it once and remember thinking to myself no drinks until after the ceremony.

But the my nerves got the better of me. As we got to the church I was the bride running down the stairs for the bathroom before the ceremony. My sister held my dress for me. And I was wearing a cathedral length mantilla and thank god my hairstylist was there (she stayed with me up until first dance...to work on touch-ups). Anyway she was able to remove and then back up to the church.

It's pretty funny. And again...you really don't think about it the day of. And if your bridal attendant is great as mine was at WM. Then she'll always have one handy for you.

I had 1/2 a cosmo. not because it wasn't good or that I didn't want anymore, I was just too busy to drink. on a side note, I didn't have to go AT ALL! not once in the 12 hours I had that dress on. which is a miracle for me

I only pee'd about 2 times the entire day - one time my MOH helped me (nerves just before the ceremony), the other time my DH did! I drank like a fish too.
Honestly, once the excitement of the day starts, you won't need to!

i'm worried about this.. i have a very shy bladder.. i can't pee if anyone is standing in the bathroom and could hear me.. i have to turn the water on in my own house.. how crazy is that..

i will not be drinking anything at all that day.. I pray i don't have to pee.. b/c i wont be able to

i agree with the other girls... its strange, but you won't have to go... you'll be soo busy. i didn't go all day until i took my dress off before DH and i left for the hotel that night... which is a miracle for me,too!! i guess you just get busy and having fun that either you sweat it out dancing-LOL- or just don't notice it because you're on such a 'high'....
