Wedding Insurance

For those who have purchased it or are planning to, which Company did you go through?

I know about Wedsafe but was just wondering if there were any other companies I should look into. TIA!

We are purchasing it mainly because of weather-we have a February wedding date. In case there is a blizzard, we would get the $ to pay all of our vendors. But it also covers other things, like if a key person got sick and you had to postpone, etc.

Re: Wedding Insurance

I used wedsafe, but thank goodness no need to make a claim!

Wedding insurance is in case of emergenies, i.e. illness of bride/groom or immediate family member, etc...

Re: Wedding Insurance

We are going through wedsafe. We're just checking with our hall to see if we need the liability, or just the regular. It's so cheap for piece of mind.

I agree - it is like $295 for $40,000 worth of coverage and only a $25 deductible for each area.

We are still thinking of doing it - you can purchase it up to 10 days before the wedding from Wedsafe.

For the event cancellation policy it cannot be purchased later than 15 days before your wedding or earlier than 24 months prior.
