DOES ANYONE HAVE A JEALOUS GIRLFRIEND

One of my best friends, just dropped out of my wedding due to the fact that she hates them and she said her mother is sick and she dosent know how she is going to feel the day of the wedding- I'm getting married in JULY !. I think she hates the fact that she has been with her boyfriend for 5 years and he still hasent ask for her hand in marriage and I have been with my FH for 4 years, should I be mad at her ?

IMHO you need to really have a talk with her to find out what is going on with before assuming she is jealous. Maybe there other things going on in her life.

I agree, talk with her first.

My best friend of 20+ years was acting strangely after I got engaged. I chaulked it up to jelousy, but after having a talk with her, I came to understanding she was dealing with alot of bad stuff in her life that I wasn't aware of.

I guess I should talk to my friend as well. I've been chaulking her behavior up to jelousy and I still kinda think that's what it is but I should give her the benefit of the doubt I suppose....

Sorry that you are in this situation but I guess you should talk to her about it....

I do have a jealous frined but I can say that b/c 'I' know she's just jealous. She has been that way for years, she's always out to compete.
In your situation you should just talk to her b/c you really don't know what the problem is. Who knows if there is a problem you can help, and if it is jealousy now you know

She never wants to talk about my wedding, all she wants to talk about is herself, she even asked me why do I want a big wedding I'm only having 150 people.

My jealous gf hasn't even called me since the day after I got engaged (10/23)!! She too is always out to compete...been w/her b/f for 8 years!!! Cripes!

Def. talk to her but don't be mad.

If she knew that she would not make a good bridesmaid right now, then it was nice of her to back out instead of staying in and dragging down the rest of your wedding party (or driving you crazy).

Talk to her first! My sister and my self have been in relationships for about 4 years and our best friend can not find a guy.... she gets mad but then we tell her you have to find him.. it is hard but hey everyone's got someone!

Yes!! Doesnt even talk about the wedding, hasn't even asked to see the ring, and when I try to bring stuff up she always says ' isn't it to early to be booking that you have a year to go w/ a rude attitude
