I need to find a makeup artist that is really great and not so costly. Can you recommend one?

I want to do hair brush make up. Venus and jade are both in suffolk, venus is in stony brook and jade is in smithtown. Both seem reasonable. I haven't made up my mind which I'll use. I want to go though try outs and compare prices.

I am using Jillian also, I love her! She does not use airbrushing.
You could probably go to her house... but she does not work out of a salon. She used to work at cactus, but then went out on her own.
She really does fabulous work!

she comes to your house on the day of, you need to go to her house for a trial.

she uses Jane Iredale mineral makeup and it is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! it gives you that soft glow and flawless look.

I used Denise as well and loved her.
Not sure if her prices are the same for 06. But I paid $30 for a trial and $125 for the day of (airbrushing, traditional would've been $100)

Ive seen pics of Jade's work, she's very talented as well.

Just wanted to add another vote for Marie Katz!!
A lovely person who does great work!
She's easy to get to (in Commack) for the trials, does airbrushing, and comes to you on the day of...perfect!!

My friend Jessica works at Mac in Smithhaven Mall. She is the store manager but she is amazing. She is doing my make up for my wedding. If you want to try her out either go in the store and ask for her for FM me and I will give you her number.
