Wedding Ring Shopping

How are you girls shopping for you wedding bands/rings?

My FH and I are trying to decide if we want to go together and I'll pick mine and he picks his...

OR

...we might go individually and surprise each other...I pick out his, he picks out mine.

We already checked out a few...he knows what I like, and I know what he likes...thought it might be fun to have the surprise - but I think he wants to see my E-ring with the band ...to make sure it looks right together - I agree.

that was the whole thing with me we wanted to see the rings together, because you want it to look good, unless you get a plain solid band which i also think looks nice!(but i also love

diamonds)

We went together. He had picked something out online, that I was going to have copied, but he saw something he liked better so I bought that!

Together. It's more fun that way. Plus I would like him to have a say n my band as I would in his (of course, we both have final say over our own bands). This way though, when I look at my band I'll think of him and visa versa. (Dorky, but that's me).

We went and designed our bands together and it was so much fun especially when I see all the loose diamonds I could not control myself. He was like honey calm down do not get carried away. Wow, all the diamonds were dazzling to my eyes.

We went together.
It was good because you could try on different styles to see what looks best on your hand and his hand, with and without your engagement ring.
Also, because when I put my ring on I knew it was the one I had to have.

Also, for $$$ reasons, we went in with an amount to spend in mind, but that changed when we saw what we liked and we were both there to agree to spend more.

Definitely want his input on my ring and vice versa...that's where going separately for each ohter's rings comes in...and that gives a surprise factor...but I agree with the idea of going together too.
