Newlywed Weight Gain!

Newlywed Weight Gain!

Okay, I went to the doctor's office yesterday, and it's official--I've gained 10 pounds since the wedding!

I knew I had gained since my clothes are gettting snug, and I bought pants in a larger size than I usually wear, but 10 pounds? Christmas hasn't even passed yet!

What really annoys me is DH--he has lost a couple pounds since we got married. It's not fair!

I have to get myself in the gym more often, but I think I need to start paying more attention to what I eat. Can anyone recommed any good books on diet? Something along the lines of the Weight Watchers program, I don't want to do anything too restricitve.

I can't recommend anything...I'm with you...10lbs since the end of October!!!!

I seriously need to staple my mouth shut and be constantly moving, but may go back to WW since it's the best thing out there...it's just getting back to it that's the hard part.

Me too...haven't gotten on a scale but the clothes are tight and I gained 1.5 inches on my waist soo I know it's bad....been working out a lot more and trying to eat better. Just started Beach Body's Turbo Jam which is pretty fun, great cardio!

Not bad, about 5...but I was sick just before the wedding and had lost, so I guess I'm pretty much back to my 'engaged weight.' DH on the other hand....he's gaining. FIL says I appear to be feeding his boy well.

But my Christmas party, vendor meetings and lots o'baskets came in this week.

I NEED to get my as$ in gear, no one wants to hire a fat chick!

Ive gained like 10lbs too.

I blame it on my job, I work in a resturant @ night ands eat. I eat @ home to but the whole placing the blame on work make me feel better. DH lost weight?

I dont know how he eats so much junk. And 2 weeks until the holidays. I might just roll into my New years party if I keep it up.

Well since October 9th I gained eight pounds. It *****. I think the honeymoon started it since all we did was eat excellent dinners. What scares me is I have to fit into a bridesmaids dress in July and I need to watch myself but it is so hard since Dh and I now have candy all over for the holidays. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
