LIW Help: HOW TO INSERT A PICTURE IN YOUR POST (without resizing)!

without having to use the resizer or 'attach image' option.

1) Upload picture(s) into your photo album and go to the picture you'd like to include in your post: right click on the image, and select properties



2) Copy the HTML address of the image



3) Go to your post, and select 'Insert Web Image' from the box below the smiley faces. When asked for the HTML address, paste the address you just copied.



Viola...image is in your post, and you can upload more than four pictures at a time at any size and without multiple posting!

Thats how i put pics into my posts, its so much easier!

FYI, you don't have to upload the pic to your LIW photo album to do this. You can do it directly from shutterfly or snapfish etc. AND it also applies if you want to show a pic from another website - just right click and copy the properties etc. etc.

ditto! thanks for putting that in...

however, i think it's shutterfly or ofoto (one of those online pic display co's) that come up as red x's on this site...

christine...i've done it with shutterfly. right click on the photo, go to properties, then click on the link and copy. then when u want to post, click web image and past the link. hope this helps

THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! I have pics saved to my computer so I can post here, but I also have most of the same pics in my community album. What a waste!

Ofoto gives the red x's. Just about every pic I've ever posted is linked from shutterfly...and that's a LOT of pics!
