Best price for photographer and Albums!??

Hi, we're getting married on 5-6-07 and are looking for something specific. ALL of our proofs (on cd as well, if possible) and negatives, 1 leather B&G album w/ 40 8x10 flush prints, 2 leather parent albums w/ 30 6x8 flush prints. 75 thank you's w/ photos. No additional prints. We will require approx 10 hrs of coverage between the house, church, some shots at the beach(only 5 mins away) and reception which will be at the Sandcastle in Franklin Square. We are trying to keep our budget at about $2200 or less for photos/albums, can anyone help us or even come close? Thank you for looking!

Hi, No responses so far, I assume that means that what we're looking for is not doable for $2200 or under. Calling all photographers please submit your best price

Hi Melanie,

In answer to your question, yes $2,200 is too small a budget to include albums. Leather albums with the quantity of photos you're looking for would cost any photographer close to the amount of money in your total budget.

A better solution would be for you to shop for a photographer based on talent and make your own albums, or order albums at a later date when you have more funds. For in the neighborhood of $2,200, perhaps less, you can find a good photographer and get a DVD with the photos and 4x6 prints of each photo. In my humble opinion it's better to get the quality photographer with quality photos then to just shop price and end up with much lower quality.

Remember, the photographer you select will be spending the majority of your wedding day with you and your whole wedding party/guests. The cost of photography is a small percentage of the whole wedding cost and is one of the only physical reminders that you will have after your wedding day is over.
