e-pics help (xpost BHB)

Ladies,

I have my e-photos this Sunday and am praying for nice weather. But in the event that it's too cold to go outside, we'll be at my photographer's studio. He told us to wear blacks or greys when I asked what colors would be good.

Question -- did anyone wear the same color shirt as their FH?

I have a really pretty black turtleneck that I was going to wear with dark jeans and black boots.... and FH has nice khakis and a black sweater (or a dark grey button down that's really nice, too)....

I'm wondering if we both do black tops, if there won't be contrast or if it'll look dumb.... opinions? photos? THANKS!! :)

I wouldn't both do black tops- it may be difficult to get detail in the pic with so much darkness. It works for other types of portaits but not e-pics in MHO...my MOH and DH had blue tops on (they didn't coordinate with each other) and it looked off b/c the blues didn't match. I'd stay in the complimenting colors....you can both be in dark jeans tho! If you reallt like black tops ask the photographer!
