For girls who attend church (that they will be married in)

Every Sunday, I find myself day dreaming about what it will be like to walk up that aisle, then I get all misty eyed! Am I the only freak that does this?

Your not a freak, you are excited because your day to walk down that aisle is almost near. Enjoy it. I think about it also

I was married in the Church I grew up in SO I dreamt about it since 1st grade.. It really was a dream come true..

We are getting married in FI's church-so I don't go to his church that often-but the first time I went up to Communion, I was all teary.
Plus it is great because his church is very similar to the one I grew up in.

Not only do I do that but I will not walk down the center aisle until the wedding date-now that is a freak

OMG!! I thought I was the only one!!!


I so totally understand how you feel. I start picturing how the pews are going to look, where we'll sit, etc. Then I remind myself that I have to concentrate on the mass.

I imagine where everything will be, I envision FH and I standing up there. One time, my mom caught me pointing and counting the # of pews so that I knew how many pew bows I would need. Sometimes when I'm standing in the vestibule (because I came into mass late), I imagine what it'll be like when they finally swing open those doors and me and my dad will be standing there! I can't wait!!!

OMG i did the same thing!!!!! i stood there counting in my head!!!!!
When i go to church i always daydream about that day...i thought i was the only FREAK who did that also!!!! i love doing it!! it's bad thouight b/c i spend the entire hour thinking about how it will be to open the doors, walk down the aisle, see my FH...how the flowers will look, the runner ETC!!!! I thought i was a little too obessed w/ the whole wedding thing. I am so glad to hear i am not the only one.

Yes I do the day dream thing. I don't go every week, because I live further up the island now, but when I am at my parents I do. My mom and I always stay later and she starts envsioning flowers and where everyone will be standing and then I get overwhlemed with emotion

when my MOH got married, i thought to myself...in a few months...we will be on opposite sides of the altar....
