Why am I having such a hard time figuring out my wedding timeline????

How does this sound? I am open to any suggestions that you may have.

Hair and makeup 9am - 11am (I am the only one to get this done so far, if any of my BM's or Mom does they will be doing it before 9am)

Dressed and ready by 11:30 am

Photos with mom, dad and BM's 11:30 am - 1pm

Church 1:30pm - 3:00pm full mass and receiving line (FYI not sure if I am doing a full mass yet or ceremony, what do you think?)

Pics 3:00 - 5:00pm

Cocktail hour 5:00 - 6:00pm

Reception 6:00 - 10:00pm

Sounds like you have it covered. Personally, esp I'm not religious and don't want a mass- luckily FH did want one either. His brother had a long ceremony with a choir and everything just short of mass and many guests felt tourtured. Our Pastor doesn't feel that they are neccessary- he said that the wedding is the point you want it long enough so your guests don't ask 'I got out of bed for this?' and they aren't bored.

If it's not something that's very important to you maybe you can have a longer ceremony with a few nice readings- makes it more than a plain ceremony and not as long as a mass? Depends on what you want for your wedding day!

IMO ( and only cause you asked for it), I would do a ceremony rather than a full mass. Whatever you decide, I;m sure your day will be great
