OOT guests and OOT bags - a question

Did everyone or will everyone do this? I feel like I'm running out of time. Are they necessary? What should I put in them to do just a basic one?

Thanks!

Re: OOT guests and OOT bags - a question

I did them. they came out really great! I wish I had taken a picture.

this is the label I put on the bag

I got the bags at AC Moore (3/$1) in multi Fall colors (yellow, orange & red). I filled them with Tylenol, candy, granola bars, pretzels, Oreos, cheese & crackers and directions to the hall. they were a hit.

Re: OOT guests and OOT bags - a question

I think they are a nice touch, but they do take some planning. JMO, but if you don't have the time to put a cute one together, I would forget doing them....I've gotten so many OOT bags that have some waters and crackers thrown in haphazardly, and it just seems useless.

I can do that - I think that I was making it more complicated than it needs to be.

THANK YOU!

I'll consider that - I definitely don't want it to look thrown together.

Re: OOT guests and OOT bags - a question

Bed, Bath, and Beyone (at least the one by me in MD) has a travel section and has all these travel-sized snacks there. I think there's also asprin and stuff like that. So you can get a lot of things for your OOT bags there.

Re: OOT guests and OOT bags - a question

We are getting stuff from BJs. There are also travel lotions. (Very good for a winter wedding) All of our guests are OOT, so we can't get too costly.

Not every B, B & B has the travel section. But walmart and target also have the sections.

Re: OOT guests and OOT bags - a question

I got my bags from Michaels and ordered tissue paper in some of our wedding colors online. I also ordered labels from Myweddinglabels.com

We went to Sam's Club to get some of the contents there. I ordered the North Fork potato chips on line.
