ugh - I was in my first car accident last night and totalled my car...

My FSIL got free tickets to see Chicago in the city last night but on the way there (we started at Smithtown and made it to Queens) a car stopped REALLY short in front of me causing me to stop really short...I did stop but the guy behind me crashed into my car so hard that I ended up getting pushed forward hitting the guy in front of me. What an absolute nightmare. This is my first car accident and my car, which was almost paid off and mine completely, is totalled. I have a bruise and body aches but thank god I did not hit my head. I cannot believe this happend...I feel so blue.

That sounds very scary and to be your first car accident...You're going to be very sore. Take it easy today. Get lots of rest. Go see a doctor if needed. It totally stinks about the car, but luckily there is insurance to replace that...his insurance!

I hope you feel better soon and this will all get straightened out right away.

Cars can be replaced... thats what insurance is for! The important thing is you are ok!!!
I know its scary, I was rear ended on the Sunken Meadow Parkway a few years ago, in a very similar situation to what you described.

Thanks girls...it was a very scary situation. I did go to the hospital last night to get checked out. I am sore today. I have to deal with the paperwork and talking to the insurance company today. This is a total nightmare but I happy to be not seriously hurt.

I'm sorry this happened to you! A car accident can be scary, especially if it was your first. At least you weren't alone and both of you are ok. You car can be fixed. Everything will be fine!

AAWWWww - I am so sorry - car accidents are so scary - it makes you realize how anything can happen unexpectedly... Thank God you are OK.
