MOB Dresses
Anyone know what an average price is? I've heard that they are $500-$600 - is that true?

Re: MOB Dresses
Some people spend less. Some people spend more. My mother's dress was semi-custom made so it cost more. There really is no rule of thumb here. Go for what looks best and what you can afford.

Re: MOB Dresses
My mom spent 325 and 80 on alterations (hemming and bringing in the top of the dress and the back of her jacket)- she went to a wholesaler in NYC by times square- the 6th and 12th floors are full of wholesale vendors! It's crazy! I wish I knew about them before I bought my dress and the BM dresses! The people my mom used her boss' parents but the father is having surgery so he's taking a break.I don't know the address of the building tho!! I'll see if I can find it! I don't know how the other business are there tho!

Re: MOB Dresses
I think it depends on where the dress is purchased. My mom spent @ $800 on a dress for my sister's wedding, yet she just bought a dress on sale in Lord & Taylor for a wedding she was invited to, that IMO is much prettier and more flattering for her for $200. She just asked me if I minded her wearing that new dress to my wedding. I told her to go for it!! It's gorgeous, and I see no need for her to spend more $$. Of course, I told her if she sees something else she likes and needs an excuse to buy it, she can use my wedding.

WOW that is great
I no longer buy from them they do have the best bathing suits..... but they messed up m y credit..they were mailing me my orders to the correct addres but sending the bills ti the wrong address a few numbers off..... so I the bill was not getting paid... so a deliguency went on my credit because they are idiots and were send the bills a few blocks away and refused to fix my credit... so yes they have great cloths but poor customer service.
