Album Layout (Glenmar Photography) Poll for anyone

Ok, I am confused what type of album to have. I can either have a 10 x 10 flush or a 8 x 10 with border. Supposedly you can have more creativity with the border album, such as putting in multiple pics, etc. But, the thing is that I like the bigger pictures. I'm confused on what I should do...

I decided on the 10x10. But, I may change my mind for the magazine style. I didn't like it at first but, when I saw other bride's albums and saw how creative they got I changed my mind.

I like the traditional album with a matt boarder because I don't like finger prints on pictures.

I am using glenmar... I believe I took the 8x10 with the option to do flush on a couple of pages...i am just more on the traditional side.

2 photographers told me that they have to crop pictures a lot more with square (10x10) albums.

Re: Album Layout (Glenmar Photography) Poll for anyone

I like both but for my own I'm going to have the album with the borders. I don't know if this helps but my friend used Glenmar and she has the 10x10 and her album is gorgeous. They really did a great job.

It's really up to you and your FH as to which style you like better.

Re: Album Layout (Glenmar Photography) Poll for anyone

FH and I wanted a traditional album. We can add in edge to edge prints in our album tho (for a fee) so we are only missing out on the composite pages- which I think I would get would get tired of. I like classic but that's MHO...my MOH LOVES her album which I call digital but I guess it's the flush? I get so confused!! I felt that I wouldn't get tired of the traditional one. I'm sure you can change you mind later if you want!! Good luck!

Ok, so your friend has the 10 x 10 and it's beautiful.. Was she able to do different designs, or do multiple pics on one page? I'm really curious about this.

Re: Album Layout (Glenmar Photography) Poll for anyone

I would do the border album. Also keep in mind that you would need to keep flipping the album if it is flush and you have horizontal pics.

You could probably get a flush photo on the first or the last page I would think, though they may charge you more.

I think the border album also has a more traditional look, so it depends what you like. This is my preference, but it's not necessarily everyone's.
