I hate LEVITZ FURNITURE!!! (vent!)

I've been waiting on a refund check from them for 2 months now and they originally told me it would take only 2 weeks to process! They are full of crap!!!! I call practically everyday and they tell me the check is being cut on X date and to be patient! It is now December 21st and STILL NO CHECK!!! I feel like going down there and screaming!!!

I know and that's the excuse they keep giving me! We're talking about a $300 check, not a $3000 check! Ridiculous and extremely frustrating!!! I'm on hold with them right now on 3 different phones!!!

DON'T get me started! LOL

We ordered 2 leather couches from them about 3 months before we moved into our home. When the couches were supposed to arrive, we learned they were on backorder. We went through months of hassles trying to figure out the story and even made angry, disgruntled trips there where me and DH both lost our cool. Long story short, we cancelled our order and filed BBB complaints. After we cancel our order, we get a letter in the mail saying the couches were now 'discontinued.' W T FFFFF?

Ended up going with couches from Fortunoff. I still shake thinking about Levitz! DH goes: You people obviously need new job because you really SUCK at this one! OMG, crazy.

We also got Levits futniture and they have the worst customer service.. after waiting 2 weekes for the funiture that was guaranteed for thanksgiving FH went down there and threatened them and said we better have it by 12/01/05 well we did as they come between 11am-3pm (they came at 5pm) and dragged the sofa on the ground we took pics of the black top with the big white scratch on it... Anyway the furniture that was to be put together at no charge was put to getter by FH or 10.00 per item.....we Paid for 2 lamps got 1 broken lamp and are now still waiting for the 2 lamps to come in. If they did not have no payment or interest till 2008 we would not have gotten the furniture from them

Yup!!! Us too! We picked out a set of couches, which then after we ordered them, I get an email a day before there supposed to be there that they are on back order until January...(this was back in November). I ended up picking new couches, made a big stink that these couches BETTER be in... since we picked the only ones they had in stock... turns out the chair wasn't ... we waited and now we're waiting for our $200 credit, which they promised us a month ago.... No wonder they went bankrupt! I hate them!!! Customer service ***** there!!!! I tell the manager that we're cancelling hte order... she doesn't really give a poop - that's a $3700 order! Are they nuts!
