so ladies, is anyone practicing for married life
by hosting/cooking/contributing food for the holiday festivities this weekend (Christmas eve and day, and the beginning of the lovely festival of lights, Chanuka)on Christmas Eve, I am going to FSIL's house in Brooklyn and making seafood stew, pizza bianca, and 2 desserts.
On Christmas Day, I am making fried shrimp and something else (not sure yet) and goping to my aunt's house in Lloyd Harbor.

Re: so ladies, is anyone practicing for married life
For the last couple of years, I've contributed to Christmas Eve with my family and Thanksgiving with his family with my chocolate peanut butter pie, but with the wedding, I've slacked. I'll pick up again next year (only I'll make something that's not so artery clogging).

Re: so ladies, is anyone practicing for married life
Tonight is baking night!! I'm making brownies for my office luncheon tomorrow. And in true 'married life' style making my 'Taco Surprise' dip for FH's work luncheon and also making cookies for his crew.
As for the actual holidays, I always try to contribute something. Maybe eggnog for Christmas Eve, I'm making cupcakes for Christmas Day.
