i think my answer would depend upon if the person is a family member or a member of the community.

If there was abuse (be it physical, mental or emotional) -- my answer is do not invite them.

If I just did not like them, sit them next to the music, keep it loud and don't talk to them. There are a lot of people at a wedding, and you only have a few minutes for each person, so it would be easy to ignore them. Plus you can tell your photographer to stear clear of them too.

I know how you feel.... My dad wants to invite his brother (my uncle) which means my cousin would probably come as well and I absolutely hate this girl...she is annoying, rude and super jealous of everyone. But alas they are invited....

my parents are totally inviting people i don't like, and some i don't even know! but i can't really complain because they are helping to pay for our hall. family is family and even if i don't like them, my parents are still having me send invites. i say, if your parents are helping with $ then let them invite this person. you'll probably be too busy that night anyway to even notice they're in the room. and hey, it's always another present!
