Hair Stress
I am one unhappy bride-2-be. I have doing research on hair styles for me for the wedding. I am looking for something...for the lack of a better word (and sorry for being cheesey) 'regal'. I can't find something I really love. I want my hair all up w/ the thick curls. It has to be placed decently high on my head (which you'd think wouldn't be a problem since my hair is so long). Maybe I am being picky. I have search the hair threads and still can't seem to find exactly what I want. I did a hair trial a couple of months ago and it was really nice, but I am still indecisive. Am I the only one who is having trouble deciding on hair? Sorry to vent, but I have spent hours trying to find something that I like. I must sound so stupid

Re: Hair Stress
You don't sound stupid at all. If you can't find exactly what you like, print out what you do like, and take it to a trial and explain what you would like changed. A good hairdresser should be able to modify a picture to give you what you want.

Re: Hair Stress
I cannot find any pics of what I am looking for and my hair trial is Monday! I too want something high on my head...I need volume on my head to look decent...I can't have slicked back or parted hair in the front. I also am going to be wearing an updo. So stressful!! I thought I was the only one!!

Re: Hair Stress
Ugh. I have no clue what to do with my hair. As I was trying on the dress I ended up buying I started putting my hair up, down , put it in a bun....basically anything to figure out how I want to wear. I must a looked like such a freak, LOL

You don't sound stupid. You just know what you want. I am the same way. Do you remember the Pantene commerical from the late 90's? I think the girl in those commercials had what you are looking for. I will try to find a pic for you.

Re: Hair Stress
I would probably want it a little higher on my head, but it is gorgeous.

i can't seem to find anything that i love either. i am going to set up a trial with denise from hairspray salon, as per recommended from a fellow liw bride, and she said to bring in pics of fronts and backs i like and she can mix and match. trial is $30 and day of at my house is $65, same prices for bm's. i don't know what pics to use. ~lacey
