I am trying SOO hard to not have a bridal melt down!!

I think im about to lose it!! I have been a great bride-to-be the entire time we have been engaged... well, i think the bridezilla in me is about to come out... im starting to feel very overwhelmed since our wedding is in about 3 months, and i still have all this left to do... im probably even missing stuff!! Someone please tell me im not alone!!!

you are so not alone! i plan on doing most everything on your list in the next 3 weeks (how's that for ambitious?). i have to finish my planning during intersession, bc i simply don't have time to spare while school is in session. get out your date book and start planning when you will do everything. take sometime inthe next week to call vendors and start making appts! anything that needs to be ordered online, find sometime to sit down and get what you need. i can recommend my officiant, father joe. www.personalizedweddings.com

Hang in there. You are not alone. I've only done about three things on your list and I am a month ahead of you. I keep telling myself that it will get done or no one will notice but me.

I know I have more time than you. But there is so much to do. Everytime I finish something there is something else to do. It's like you can never get ahead.
Just take it day by day. Do one task at a time. It will all get done and everything will be wonderful!!!

Not to worry fellow April Bride, I am right along side you. I have NOTHING done from your list and I haven't even decided on our invitations or flowers yet!

It will all come together in the end.

i probably should break my list down... looking at it all long like that is making me feel so overwhelmed!!! Luckily I have the week off...im going to try to get some things scratched off!!

NPTBride...thank you for letting me know that you have all the same things to do!! it would make me feel better though if my wedding was at the end of the month instead of the begining!!

You will be fine. Definitely break your list into more manageable pieces. If it makes you feel better, I am going out of town for three weeks so I have the same amount of potential wedding planning productivity time as you!

I also have most of those things to do plus more and I'm only about a week after you. calm breathing..it WILL get done!
That said, I'm freaking out right now b/c our invitations aren't ordered yet and I want them to go out in about a month...but ya know what? if they don't, they don't..most people have already told us they are coming and have the date marked on our calendar anyways
I did just notice that I have been putting alot of things off until 'after the holidays'..and now that it's coming up and I have to actually do it all!

how about giving some of the 'to do' list to your bridal party. Thats what their for. Perhaps, they can pick up a few items or help you get some stuff together. It will all work out ... good luck!

Do not even stress it. I am a week behind you and I have the same things left with very few exceptions.

I know we can do it and we will do it. Hang in there then take a deep breath and start strategizing.

I have that disease... if you want something done right, you do it yourself... i have a hard time delegating... especially with stuff that is so important to me...

I am so sorry you are feeling overwhelmed
I totally feel ya though. I have called 4 limo places, since that was FH's job and he never took the initiative I HAD to take over.
The church to confirm rehersal and wedding time for invitations this week.
Call the florist to make an appointment this week.
NOW I am dragging FH to look at wedding bands. OMG! Talk about overwheleming and it is only 11am and I am a nut this morning.
I know what you mean and I know how you feel. We all know one way or another everything will get done.

I suffer from that disease as well. Break down your list into managable parts. Group things together. For example, you can go to Wrap With Us for favors and invitations and ring bearer pillows and flower girl baskets (and a few other things on your list).

Put FH in charge of researching, not booking, the honeymoon online. Tell him to come up with his top 5 choices. I found that giving this job to FH made him feel involved (since he tells anyone who will listen I planned the whole thing without his input so not true).

Limos are something you can do online. Put up a post on the vendor board with ALL your details and ask for price quotes. Then go visit the ones that respond.

This week there are a ton of sales everywhere - perfect time to get bridal party gifts.

In the meantime, remember to breathe!!

Oh you are so not alone! I have a ton of stuff to do and don't even know where to begin and when to do it all!!!

You will get everything done... just break the list down into small parts. Maybe make some appointments this week for flowers. Post on the vendors board as well (for flowers and limos and HM).
