Repost from BHB - girls with emerald cut engagement rings...
Are you getting a wedding band custom made to fit your ring? I have been trying on bands and they don't fit right because the stone hangs over the ring a bit.

I thought about doing this, but I was afraid that the band wouldn't look right by itself if it were made to fit with the ring. The band that I chose doesn't fit it exactly, but the space between is tiny and I can live with it.

this is what I got- and I am wearing it on the same finger- it's been getting so great reviews
it doesn't fit together- perfectly- but clse enough
it looks amazing- I can't stop staring at it

I will probably get a band similar to yours, but with princess cut stones....this is my ring, but where the round stones are I have princess cut stones and my band is a bit thicker.
Glad to hear that the space isn't too noticeable bc I definitely want to wear the two on the same hand!
