dyeable shoes

hello! i want to buy my girls their shoes (i don't want them to have to buy died shoes that they will never wear again). where is the best place to get them? i was hoping for less than $50 a pair. i know most people are opposed to dyeables, but they are wearing tea length and with the pale pink i think died to match will look better than silver. any store suggestions? ~lacey

Re: dyeable shoes

Craft Shoes, and DSW often has a selection of dyables, and their prices are usually pretty good.

Re: dyeable shoes

just make sure every girl is comfortable with the type of shoe you choose. if they can't stand or walk, they won't be happy, and neither will you! i would take them with you.

oh definitely! i will scope them out and pick a comfy low healed open toe. when we first picked out the dress we agreed on silver strappy sandals, so i think that style should fly with the dyed shoe. i will have them all try them on before i order. i will check out DSW on my way home from work tomorrow and maybe the craft shoe this weeklend, thanks for the tips! ~lacey

Re: dyeable shoes

The Shoe Boutique in Babylon Village has a great selection and a very helpful saleswoman. Odd hours though...not open Sundays or Mondays, not sure about Sat. hours, Tues-Thurs only until 5PM.

Payless actually sells dyables for $20. I don't know if they dye them though. I saw the shoes on their website.
