NWR: shoe question--does anyone here do this?

I know, I'm crazy, but I have a question. So recently I have found my dream shoes: leather ankle booties with pointy toes and so comfortable I could wear them all day and night long. I kind of want to buy another pair to have since this pair is already starting to scuff. My MOH buys double pants if she loves them, but I've never heard of anyone buying double shoes if they love them. Does anyone do this, or would it be wierd for me to buy another pair to have for when these wear out? I want to be able to enjoy this pair without worry of them looking crappy after a while.

ETA: They weren't too expensive, about $80 or $90.

If you love them buy another pair. If you wait for the pair you have to wear out, you might not be able to find them again. I do this when I find a pair I love, but I also have *no* promblem finding an excuse to buy a pair of shoes. I love shoes!

Yes, I do it all the time. Sometimes I have the same pair of shoes in a couple of colors too.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit properly so for me, when I find a pair I like and that fit, I will get another pair of them.

I have done that in the past. Especially if I know it is a pair of shoes that I will wear a lot.

I definitely would!

In fact, my FATHER has done this for years!

He goes to the Timberland outlet and finds something that he likes (on sale), and buys 2 pr. 1 goes under the bed. He has SO many shoes under the bed right now - I don't think he needs to buy new shoes for a couple years! hahahha
