Re: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

I was just there this past October, it was beautiful! I would recommend the canopy tour if you're not afraid of heights and the jeep tours of the area. We also did a boat cruise, which was okay, the snorkeling was terrible (no fish)! A couple we met recommended snorkeling near the four seasons hotel, which is less developed. We had a very romantic dinner on the beach during sunset, which was amazing. There are lots of beautiful and yummy restaurants all along the shore. I wouldn't recommend all-inclusive places because the food in the town is actually good and not that expensive. If you have questions, please feel free to ask, as I was just there it's fresh in my mind.

Re: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

You should try and find an adults only hotel because we went to Puerto Vallarta in June and the hotel was full of kids. Personally I think it depends where you stay becuase I would not go back to the hotel we stayed at again. The snorkeling was nice but the water was not too clear, the canopy tour was fun if you are not afraid of heights, and the sunsets were beautiful The pic on the sie of this reply is from Puerto Vallarta. Good luck planning and whever you go it will be fun its your HONEYMOON!!

Re: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

PV is our favorite place. We spent a week there for our HM and we can't wait to go back. If you're into the beach, I suggest staying outside of town and in Nuevo Vallarta- they are also the newest resorts. In most places I would highly reccomend doing an all-inclusive package, but not in PV. There are way too many great restaurants to feel stuck in your resort. The nightlife is really good too, with a big range- rooftop lounges, clubs, bars, cafe's.

Re: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

I went and didnt like where we stayed, we stayed at the Wyndham and it was way too far from the hotel zone. We were so far up in the mountains, you had to walk down far to the beach and the beach was soooooo rocky- you could not go in it at all! and there were rock formations everywhere. It def was beautiful but not for me. If I ever go there again, I would stay near the airport in the hotel zone area.

oh and forgot to add, we went to town and had a blast and went snorkeling and we were attacked by jelly fish! everyone was screaming- every second you felt a zing, saw pretty fish but ouch I even still have a scar!
