I have a feeling that I will now have more than one priest who will do my wedding!

Well I have officially put the word out to many friends and family members about the fact that I don't have a priest for my wedding. My cousin is asking 2 priests that she knows, I have called and left a message for my MOH's Uncle who is a priest and my brother has asked around since he is a member of the Knights of Columbus...

I have a feeling that I will now have a few people who will say that they can do it and then I am stuck telling people I don't need them

Did something happen to your original preist? Did you have one?

I wouldn't worry about telling people that you don't need them, I'm sure they'll be okay with it. It's hard, I know, but I'm sure they will understand!!

Oh we never really had one! I am so mad at my church for this. The one we met with goes to Ireland for the month of July..must be nice! I asked another one who will also be on vacation. There is another priest that really only says foreign language masses and then the Pastor is not such a nice guy!

i am having 2 preists marry me - both are family friends of FH. not a lot of people have that - and in fact i didn' tknow they could do it - but my church said no problem.

its different and original and i actually just want to see how they split mass up between them.

if you have more than one - so what? @ the end of the day u will still be married.
