Another Flower Question
Do florists usually make you up a sample centerpiece before you book or only after you book with them. If you got to see a sample before you booked who is your floris? TIA

Re: Another Flower Question
They should - anyone who didn't offer that, I crossed off my list. I booked with White Iris Floral in Babylon.

Re: Another Flower Question
I met with about a dozen florists. They all offered to do a sample, but not all offered to do it before booking. Those that offered to do a sample in advance of booking were:
Laurie at LA Blossom (she actually did it, but FH and mom didn't like it - I however did)
George at Signature (didn't actually have one done, b/c he couldn't get the flowers we had decided would go in CP when I called him back a full month later - wrong season to get them)
Pedestals (didn't actually have one done either, I decided the price quote was more than I wanted to spend, even though based on other quotes it was reasonable)
Meredith at Flower Petaler in Huntington (she actually did the sample, but there was something I repeated 15 times during my original consultation with her, and she didn't listen when putting the sample together. Although the day I saw my sample she was preping for a wedding that day, and that bride's flowers were stunning!!!)
Nancy at Open House Country (she actually did the sample, and it was almost exactly what I had envisioned. The sample was in different colors than what she will be using for my wedding, but it was just a sample and I could clearly see the quality of her work)
Here is the link to my album with Nancy's sample:
