Bought shoes today..
But now that I got them home, they don't look white to me. I know I ordered the dress in white. The color on the box says 'white crepe' what does that mean? My dress is satin, and the shoes are not, I didn't even realize that when I was in the store. The store only has a 10-day return policy. What should I do? I am thinking of just going to Commack Wedding Center this weekend to compare it to the dres. I didn't order from them, but they are 5 minutes away while the store I ordered from is 40 minutes away.

Re: Bought shoes today..
Crepe is a type of fabric. Like on a crepe dress. It will have a little shimmer but not a shine the way satin does. It is a lil grainy texture thats all.

Do you think it will be noticable with a satin dress, or does it not matter?

What does your dress look like? I know with my dress, its such a big ball gown skirt, that my feet will never show so I am wearing sneakers

They're really pretty and look comfortable too! I would go compare them with the dress to see if they match. As long as the color matches, I would think it's ok that they are different fabrics..

Lauren, unless someone is staring at you feet it shouldn't matter. However, being as anal as I am...i would take them to see if they match.

Re: Bought shoes today..
How different do you think the color is? In the pics they look almost silvery which IMO is fine..I think as long as they are not waaay off you are fine.

Re: Bought shoes today..
I think color wise they are fine. they don't look ivory or off white, so it's probably just a matter of the light reflecting differently off of the different fabrics.my shoes are slightly darker than my dress, but I had a swatch of my fabric with me, so I knew that. however, it only looks darker in certain light- in others it matches perfectly. I really wouldn't stress it.

Re: Bought shoes today..
Lauren,I would take them and compare them... I am sure that everyone does that... I would if my dress were in the store in the right color......
and I like them.... they are low. Nice pick.... my dress sort of looks like yours... so... good taste!!
