What if it's booked on the real date. This is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Besides
it's not like there catering to royalty or anything. I highly doubt the prices would go up for 1 day because it's popular than most others.

like I said, I am booked for 7/7/07 and they didnt charge me extra for anything, I would be very surprised if they said it would cost xtra for that day, it is no different than any other day

Hey!!!

7/7/07 bride here... and no one has charged us any extra... I think that we booked before anyone really noticed... So far I have everything booked except the flowers and limo...

catering hall, band, DOC, photo- no one charged me any extra...

Its my lucky number.

This doesnt work-tried it. Depending on the WANT for that date depends on your price really. They can quote you 75 for the first saturday in may and then quote you 150 for the next saturday...it ***** but thats how it works.
I dont realy know how true this is though, I would ask and see what your hall says...Good Luck ladies-if it is true its ridiculous!

wow! that is the most ridiculous thing i've heard! Did they charge LESS for last year's 6/6/6 then? Im sure that they didnt! 7/7/7 is an awesome date - and people should be charged the July or summer rates - its so unfair that vendors can just change prices because the date is popular and sounds cool!

I'm getting a little nervous now reading these posts. I booked my hall yesterday but I wasn't charged extra for the day. I hope the same thing happens with dj, photo/video, flowers etc. It seems ridiculous to me that they would even think of doing that to people. Sure 7/7/07 is a cool date but it's a saturday like any other and shouldn't be priced differently

any place that charges extra is ridiculous, there is nothing special about that day it is just a day like any other. So far I havent been charged extra at all but if they try to they will hear from me!!!
