One of my bridesmaids does great makeup. She will do mine. I am getting my hair done with the lady who always does my hair. She is also the same bridsmaids mother. Money Saved!!

I booked Marie Katz for Make-up.. I'll probably just go to the salon I always get my hair done at.. Barbara Ross in Commack.

I am not sure yet, but I would like to start having some trials in the next couple of months incase I wind up moving out of state in the spring.

I definitely want to do one airbrush trial and one regular trial for makeup.
I have heard great things about jaqueline nicole, but her website says to go for a trial 4-6 months before your wedding and i definitely don't want to wait that long so i guess i have to see if she takes people earlier.

and for hair I want to find someone that will keep my hair very soft and natural looking and i need to find someone that will use steam rollers since that is the only thing that holds a curl in my hair.

any suggestions welcomed

I want Jen from hair genie (Kamille I want to come with you when you get yours!!!) but I want to see someone who does airbrush make up and I heard Oksana doesnt!!

My hairstylist Dawn @ Vibes barber shop in Hempstead (so hood, for those of you that know what I mean ), and I'm not much for make-up, and have never been( only lipglass)But when I do get touched up I go to Nivia @ MAC in Roosevelt field

My aunt owns her own shop, she has been cutting and doing my hair since my first cut so she is going to be doing mine and my girls hair
I am still unsure about my makeup, I figure I have time to decide

How much does jen the hair genie and oksana charge? They seem to be pretty popular. I notice many brides posted pics on their magic! I really like their work!

wow this thread is over a year old!

they are vendors on here. the prices are on their website. but oksana is $50 for trial and $100 day of. but dbl check just in case. also see if she's available on ur date.
