First Wedding Nightmare!

Last night I had my first wedding nightmare. I was at the reception and then had to leave with my FSIL because someone was trying to extort money from her and she needed me to go with her to his house...in the middle of my wedding reception...in my wedding dress. When we got back to the reception site, the place had changed and was all dark and dingy and 98% of the guests had left. Okay so maybe it's not a nightmare per say but what the heck does it mean??

Re: First Wedding Nightmare!

I don’t think these dreams have a significant meaning - I chuck it up to Bridal Paranoia that something really horrible is going to happen. A few months ago I had this dream:

I walked into my reception and everyone was sitting on chairs in a circle around the dance floor. There were no tables, lines or table settings. Then my Djay was this Older guy and he said that my Emcee Steve couldn’t make it. The for my first dance with my FH, they made me dance with my cousin cause she was closest to me and he wasn’t around. Also my dress was ugly and it wasn’t what I had ordered. To make matters worse the song they played was the Tango. It sounds so silly and makes me crack up when I think about it, but in the dream I was so horrified and thought it was true. The crazy thing is the more you stress, the more dreams you have.

Re: First Wedding Nightmare!

I think you're right. Maybe I'm stressing because I'm just getting back into planning after taking some time off from it for the holidays. Crazy dreams are the norm for brides I guess!
