Atlantic City/Borgata for Bachelorette Party?

So I was thinking of this for the bachelorette party. Not too far and can't be that much $ for people. Has anyone stayed at the Borgata? Is there a nice pool outside, or just in like it looks like on the website?
ALso, good clubs/bars here or at any other casinos? Also, how's the spa?
Thanks!!!!!!

Re: Atlantic City/Borgata for Bachelorette Party?

My cousin had her bachelorette party in the Borgota this past September. The hotel itself is gorgeous. They have a bunch of restaurants (although $$$, but then again any of the 'nicer' hotels in AC is not 'cheap') and a club (Mixx). Rooms are extremely pricey, but I guess if your splitting the cost with 4 girls per room, it is not as bad as it seems. Although the Borgota is an amazing place, please consider your other options. The Borgota is NOT in the hotel 'zone'..(meaning is it off the boardwalk, therfeore, you would have to take shuttle busses & cabs to leave the hotel to visit the other restaurants/nightlife AC has to offer) If this is not a problem, then go for it!!! The Borgota is the nicest hotel in AC (by far) I would most definately compare it to a Las Vegas Hotel.

You may also want to consider some other places in AC which are on the boardwalk, which means easy access to the other resorts, restaurants & clubs.

One of my fav's -Taj Mahal. I love that place because there are a bunch of inexpensive places to eat there & thers a really nice club (Casbah). The overall croud on any given weekend is more 'younger' I guess its because of the club & bars inside the hotel. Ive seen so many bachelor/bachelorette parties going on everytime I go.

Right outside of Resorts Hotel theres Nikki Beach.. very posh (for AC, thats for sure).

AC is a great place to have your bachelorette party. That would have been my 2nd choice. Please FM me if you have any questions. I hope this helps.

Re: Atlantic City/Borgata for Bachelorette Party?

I've been to the Borgata about 4 times. The latest time was for my BM's bachelorette party.

It's definitely a fun time. We drank in the room until 11 and then realized 'oh...we need to go downstairs!' We had an amazing time.

I would also suggest some of the other hotels too, though. If you want to just stay at one place, then I would do the Borgota. But it IS very expensive.

Re: Atlantic City/Borgata for Bachelorette Party?

I go to AC a lot..(we are big blackjack gamblers)....Borgata is the best hotel in AC right now...overall, restaurants, club, people & casino, the pool is very nice and so is the spa (great massages & facials).....the rooms are not so bad (price)..if you book in advance, you can get a room for 150-200 a night on the weekend (4 people in the rm, not so bad)...the rooms are very nice...I have a black label card, so if you need any help with rooms let me know (I know few casino hosts)...

IMO, great place for a bachelorette party....very Vegas feel..

I would go to Borgata. I have been there a few times, If u go it is out of the way of the other hotels. so u really have to stay there or take a taxi. the rooms are pricey so better book fast. the comedy club is great there.

Re: Atlantic City/Borgata for Bachelorette Party?

I went for a friend's bacheloretty party to AC and we stayed across the street at Trump Marina. The rooms were nice but, the overall place looked like a dump compared to the Borgata.

My FH has gone down a couple of times and they have stayed at the Tropicana. It's recently been renovated and they have a lot of restaurants and stuff. He totally recommends it and he's not a huge AC guy.
