MY BROTHER USED PATKEN AT CLM. HE GOT MARRIED IN JULY, SO THEY WENT TO VENICIAN SHORES IN LINDENHURST FIRST, TOOK PICTURES ON THE BEACH. THEN WENT TO CLM AND TOOK PICTURES OUT ON THE DECK. THEY CAME OUT GREAT. SO GOOD IN FACT I AM USING THEM FOR MY WEDDING NEXT YEAR!

My friend used patken for her wedding in Oct. 2004, another friend is using them in March 2006 and I plan on booking them for my wedding next year. My friend's pics came out great - I think they are middle of the line price wise.

im using Patken...i didnt find there prices too crazy...we got a package based on smaller amounts, because they said it is cheaper to add on later....
my package is under 5K for the photography and about an additional 1500 to add video. plus since we signed on teh spot they threw in a few extras for us!!!
to me, the pictures are something i will always have, so i rather spend the extra $$ for the photographer i liked the best!!! After seeing some prices other people are paying for photo, its really not that much more.

we are getting 2 photographers one for tradiational and one photojounalism and our videographer.. we get all the negatives bout 1000
our book which we will be picking from a bunch of design styles, 2 parent albums, 150 thank yous, 3 videos, two adorable brag books that are like children size story books that I pick out pictures for and are great for carrying in your bag (yes i'm in love with it) plus about 4 or 5 larger pictures to give to our godparents or whomever we chose . The larger pictures vary in size. And our engagement pictures.
I guess its not oodles and oodles but It's everything that we wanted and the owner is sooooo great, we booked on the spot after looking at about 10 other places mind you!
Quality is supurb and my cousin had them and we didn't even know that they were there

lol sorry ADA studios.. their in waking river and smithtown - in the back of watermill who is my reception hall. The price for this package is 5900 but i'm paying 5700 cause i'm a watermill bride - came to 5900 with taxes. i just loved the quality and the atmosphere and the owner is great .. he's going to be my photographer!! They also have other packages that are great as well this one just the perfect package for us

I have to say as someone who actually worked with Patken for my wedding I would highly recommend them. Photography was high on our list of importance and so we met with a lot of photographers but Patken was hands down the right choice for us. Everytime I look at my proofs I am reminded of how happy I was to work with them.
My package was very reasonable in price and included:
Engagement Pictures
Wedding Album (36 pictures)
Parent Album (24 pictures)
20x20
11x11
6 - 5x7 for bridal party
125 Full cover picture thank you cards with personalized message and envelopes
Additional pictures (10x10, 8x10, etc)
Deluxe Video with 3 DVDs
Plus, according to my notes, I will be getting my negatives shortly after everything has been printed and finished.
I highly recommend Patken. They are amazing to work with and their work is beyond words. We have been so happy with our pictures and I still get so many comments on the thank you pictures.

I thought the prices were reasonable.
and I actually booked ada first and had a horrible experience with them and luckily I got out of using them. Its a long story but they were horrible.
