any suggestions for really nice hotels? any info would be great

In Oahu we are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian in the Ali tower

Then we go to Maui and are staying the the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Spa.

I have only heard good things about both but haven't been there yet!

In Oahu we're staying at the Sheraton Mona Surfrider, a friend stayed there and recommended it. On the way back (we're spending a night there before we leave) we're staying at the W at Diamondhead. We own a condo through Starwood so we have a bunch of 'starpoints' so we're staying at the hotels for free.

In Maui, we're staying at the Westin. My friend stayed at the Hyatt and said both the Hyatt and Westin are nice. Fodors also recommends the Sheraton.

I stayed at the Westin in Maui a couple of years ago -

It was the nicest hotel to date I have stayed in - the beds were awesome

there are adult and kids pools
