What Wedding Song Did You Choose and What Was Your Second Choice?

Just curious what your choices were.
We wanted an old song at first. We listenend to a bunch of songs and the only one we both really liked was Love Will Keep Us Alive by the Eagles. Then, a few months later, we decided to look for an old song again and eventually decided (at the final meeting with the band) to choose Our Love is Here to Stay by Frank Sinatra.

Well we chose 'The Way You Look Tonight' by Elton John YEARS ago. Over the course of the engagement though, I really liked Ben Folds' 'The Luckiest', but DH vetoed because he was already attached to the other song. I ended up walking down the aisle to 'The Luckiest' though.

I Could Not Ask For More by Edwin McCain was our wedding song

We wanted In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel...but it was too hard to slow dance to. We loved the Edwin song, though, and our band did it beautifully!

We used 'Maybe I'm Amazed' by Paul McCartney, but a close second was 'Songbird' by Fleetwood Mac or Eva Cassidy.

FH wanted an old song 'throught the years' by Kenny Rogers and then I wanted something a little more upbeat so we are going with 'by my side' by Sade. We are still using both songs one as our wedding song and through the years as our anniversary dance song.

We dance to Into the Mystic by Van Morrison and then used our cake cutting for a second song (we danced to it after we cut into the cake) - it was I Live For You by George Harrison

We are using How sweet it is, by James Talyor, but I want to have True Companion played at some point!

we used 'our love is here to stay' and MY runner up was between like 3 different van morrison songs. i was happy with our choice in the end :)
