Help picking BM dresses

I need help deciding between these 2 BM dresses. I really like the dress with the contrasting split skirt because I think it looks more sophisticated. Please let me know what you think!

My colors are in the purple family, so it will be the color in the picture. It is called Lilac but looks different from the second picture which is also lilac. The material of the first dress is a taffeta halter. The second dress is a satin halter over a georgette skirt.

I think the first is very pretty and I think the second one is beautiful too. My thinking is, the second looks like a softer material (organza or chiffon) which is, in my opinion, prettier than the type of material on the first dress and does not wrinkle as easily. Also, the cut of the #2 dress works better with more women's figures...because it cuts at the waste and looks like it has an over-lay it will flatter much more (that over lay is great for hiding anyone's belly--I know b/c I wore a dress like that once and it was great for the figure). I like how #1 is different but I think #2 is more classic and will work better with your BM. JMO. Good luck, hope I was able to help!

I wish I had a front view! It is a new style, just released in the spring catalog. I think I am going to take a drive down to the store to see it. I can't stop looking at it but I wanted some opinions in case I am just obsessing.
