Calling for Prices?

Hi Ladies! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Pardon this question if it sounds stupid! But do you know if I can call reception halls for prices before actually going to see them? My friend told me no place would quote me over the phone but I think that sounds insane! I know what we have in mind to spend so I don't want to waste time going to places that fall outside of our budget. Thanks ladies!

Some places I called were willing to give me a quote.

Others may just give a range.

The way I would get them to say it is:

I'm interested in having my wedding at (whatver place) in (whatever date). But before I schedule an appt., can I have your low to high range for that time of year? Every place I called gave me the info.

One place didn't and when they said it's not their policy to give that info. out over the phone I then said, 'there's no pt. in me coming there and wasting yours and my time if it's not in my price range'. This particular place then gave me the prices.

I am sure if you search for the place on here you can find out the pricing... There is even an 07 thread with a list of pricing of all places for 07!

I will try to bump it for you!

Thye may give you a quote- but most will just give u a price range if anything.
