Bachlorette party BOMBSHELL

My best friend of 20+ years and MOH. Told me today that my cousin a BM wanted to combine my Bachlorette party and Bridal Shower. But then tells my cousin said she wants to do it in a community center. No offense to people that have had thier Bachlorette Partys and Showers in them. But come on. It's not me. She felt bad for having to tell me. But I'm so happy she did. I made my Best friend the MOH for a reason. What do u think. I want to see muscles and buns at my Bachlorette party. The Bridal Shower can be for my wonderful FMIL and other older family members.

Re: Bachlorette party BOMBSHELL

There is something just wrong about combining the two events. The bridal shower is for family & friends, the bachelorette party is to 'get down' with the bridal party and other friends of the same age.

I see nothing wrong with having the shower at the community center, but a two for one deal is just wrong!!

Re: Bachlorette party BOMBSHELL

Maybe having the shower and the bachelorette party in the same day isn't that bad of an idea, but to combine both, seems unfair to you.

You need to have a night out with the girls, to act stupid and get crazy, and let's face it, you can't exactly do that in front of the FILs.

Let them know you want it to be 2 parties. If they can't afford it, then they just don't come.
