First Bridal Expo
Hi girlsI'm going to my first Bridal Expo in Bklyn tonight and I'm soooo excited, but I also don't have any clue what to expect. Can anyone tell me how long they usually run for? Do I just walk around and get brochures from vendors and leave? Does everyone go with their FH's - i don't want to be the only one who's going with their mom tonight lol These are probably stupid questions but since I've never been to one I just want to be prepared

I have been to one in Brooklyn. Not many vendors. I would highly suggest you check out the on in the Marriot on the 16th. Tons of vendors. And no not everyone goes with their FI. I also suggest making labels so you dont have to fill out the cards for each vendor.
Have fun

If I can also suggest that you don't use your main email address if you have an alternative (the next day my mailbox was FULL) and i didnt give out my phone # cause I was told by a coworker that these vendors will call with a force!! (unless I suppose that you really liked this partiular vendor, and want them to call!)Good luck!

if you want a TON of information sent to you...go ahead and give out your address. just about every single table or vendor you see will want you to fill out an 'information' or 'contact' sheet and you will wind up with your name on like 100 mailing lists. same thing goes with your phone number and e-mail address.
at bridal expos--expect a HUGE amount of brochures, magazines, business cards, etc. and lots of people trying to set up appointments with ya. i recommend bringing a pen and perhaps a small tote bag to hold all the magazines and such. (usually the plastic bags they give you wind up giving weigh!
