Every one seems to like Jenn the Hair Genie. Why don't you search the Brides Review boards and see who everyone used. This way at least you can see their work and see what other ladies had to say about them.

Same for me, sorry. I never had a trial with her, but from the pictures on her site, I wanted exactly opposite, which was why I never made an appointment. But that's just IMO, I know plenty of brides who used her and were very pleased.

For makeup, I recommend Jill Harth (I booked her) or Jacqueline Nicole (had a trial with her and she's very sweet).

I used Denise from Angel Eyes and I really liked her. She was professional and was able to give me exactly what i was looking for after i showed her a picture of something i liked.

Hair Designs by Christine, 631.877.9412 - she's not a vendor on here but I got her info from some girls on here who used her. I loved how she did my hair. She spent 2 hours w/ me and tried a few different things and her prices are reasonable.

Sarah Rock from Georgous Faces is also really good, she did my hair when I was a BM in a wedding - she's a vendor on here.

For makeup, Jacquline Nicole is awesome but she's probably already booked (but you could try). Georgous Faces also has a makeup person. I've heard good things about Jill Harth and Angel Eyes also.

Sorry to keep posting on your board. I used Jacqueline Nicole and Jenn the Hair Genie and I would highly recommend both of them. They were super sweet and did a wonderful job on me and my bridal party.

I'm using denise from Angel Eyes as well. My skin is very blotchy and I have really dark circles under my eyes but she covered everything up and the make-up (from the trial...airbrush) stayed on all day/night. She's a vendor on here...I think there's also a link to her website on the vendor page. Good luck with your search!
