Re: Starting my hall hunt!!
Some were 30 minutes some were over an hour. We went to Fox Hollow twice before booking it and both times we were there over an hour talking to the BM.

Re: Starting my hall hunt!!
Some took longer then others, but allowed two hours in between appts. which allowed for the appt., travel time and food/bathroom breaks.

This sounds about right. One place took less than 30 minutes and the others took about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Good luck!

Jerrico Terrace is amazing. My brother got married there 3 years ago and they did a great job. Just a bit out of my budget .

Re: Starting my hall hunt!!
Definitely give yourself time! Last weekend I almost drove FH to the brink of insanity. We live in Levittown...we had a 12:30 appt in flushing to view a yacht, then a 2:00 appt in West Hampton to view Atlantica, we had to pick one of my bridesmaids up at the train station in Hicksville at 4:00, and then get to Huntington Harbor to view Coindre Hall at 4:45. We were rushing all day, and stressed beyond belief! so my advice would be to give yourself PLENTY of time in between...this way you aren't on a time restraint, and can take the time to enjoy each place and ask the questions you want to!

Re: Starting my hall hunt!!
In regards to the last poster's statement about asking the questions you want to. I bring a notebook to each appt I have with ready to ask questions and then I fire away with all of them. I write down all of the answers. This is very helpful when trying to compare vendors. HTH
