Question about marriage license - help me aviod a heart attack!

What do you need as proof if identity at the town of hempstead Town clerk's office to get the license?

FH and I are flying in from Seattle this weekend to get our license and then get hitched the following Saturday. He doesn't have his birth cert. on hand (it is in NJ), but he has a driver's license (from WA) and a passport. I have my WA driver's license and my birth cert.

I am freaking out that we are going to have to go to NJ and pick up his birth cert before we get the license, and we just don't have time to do that.

And, now I am also freaking out because we have out of state driver's licenses, too!

I that's fine. I called and they said my passport and work ID would work. You may just call the office to confirm but I'm pretty sure it's ok. I don't think the fact that they're out of state licenses make a difference.

i thinkit's just 2 forms of photo id. we'll be bringing our drivers lisences and passports.

Thanks! The town website is not clear, but the state site says you need at birth cert., so I was confused. I will call tomorrow to confirm. Thanks, this won't be the issue keeping me awake tonight!

it varries by town so definitly call to be sure.
