Need Creative Ideas?

I made my own 'save the date' magnets but need a creative way to stick them to something so they fit into a regular size envelope? They are business card sized so they are too small to send alone I think?

When you figure it out, let me know. I've been to Michaels, Staples, Party City and Cedarhurst Paper looking for blank DIY cards to put mine in, and none of those places had cards that fold (like a greeting card) that were blank. They all said either 'thank you' or 'you're invited' or 'It's a Party' on the front.

Re: Need Creative Ideas?

I would get a mid-weight card-stock (in a great color) fold them in half and cut them to fit the envelope (greeting card style) then take an exacto knife and make for slits in the corners for the business card to slip into. The colorful background will really make the save-the-date jump off of the page.

Re: Need Creative Ideas?

You can get a small envelope, like 3x5. It won't fit perfectly but it's probably the most convenient option.

Re: Need Creative Ideas?

I have 2 suggestions:

The first is, Pick Quick in Farmingdale has plain white foldover cards. I'm not sure, but I think they do come in other colors. AC Moore also has plain cards. I think they are in the Stamping aisle or the Scrapbooking aisle. They are sold in packages.

The second is, you could get colorful cardstock and cut it to fit the envelope. Then use glue dots (they are sold at Michael's and AC Moore) and use those to stick the STD to the card.

HTH

Yes. You can buy them in rolls of 300 or more. They are really easy to remove.
